Did you guys do anything fun this weekend? My boyfriend and I were pretty lazy. We were supposed to drive to the Winter Festival but decided a Saturday sitting around the house was a better idea. In our busy and hectic lives sometimes the best weekends are the weekends where you just relax and be still.

5 Beauty Finds

So here's my second batch of top 5 Beauty Finds:

Too Faced Naked Eye in Soft & Sexy ( buy here )

I don't get why they named this palette "Naked Eye" because most the colors aren't neutral.  Love the bottom row, Lap Dance and Stiletto makes a dramatic smokey eye. 

Exuviance Vespera Serum ( buy here )

The winter time in my state is very dry and this causes my complexion to look dull and tired. Exuviance serum is great for stressed skin; very light, moisturizing and doesn't make my face feel like it's clogged up with oil.

Loreal Voluminous False Lashes Mascara ( find at a local drugstore)

I have used Dior Show mascara for the last year, love it, but it will clump up. This Loreal mascara creates a look of more lashes and length with minimal clumping. A lot cheaper than Dior Show too.

Revlon Lip Butter ( find at a local drugstore ) 

These lip butters are very moisturizing. I want one in every color!

Victoria's Secret Black Liquid Eye Liner ( couldn't find online, but got this recently at a local Victoria's Secret )

I've been using a lot of liquid eye liner this year. Tried several brands,  biggest problems are they either dry out too quickly or go on too thick. This one is great; its fairly large so it will last, perfect consistency, and easy to draw with.

it's a new year

I know its silly and cliche to make new year's resolutions but here are some of mine:

1. Strive to be a better Christian, girlfriend, daughter, sister,    and employee (just a better person all around haha)

2. Devote more time to the charities I'm involved in

3. Eat less fast food 

4. Walk my dogs more (one of my dogs is practically obese, he        needs to loose weight ! )

5. Keep up with my exercise regimen ( this one is SO hard )

6. More traveling !

The Gypsy

Sorry for the hiatus from posting ! I've been really busy on my vacation and spending time with the family but I'll be posting regularly again especially now that I have some new outfits that I want to share !!


I saw "Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows" on Christmas day. Sherlock Holmes is probably one of my favorite fictional character so I really liked the movie. What I LOVED about the movie was the costume design for Noomi Rapace's character (done by Jenny Beaven). The bright colors, layers, hair, makeup and many hats that the character wore were amazing and inspiring.
